Acceptable Use Policy

1.Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may and may not do with Horse Racing Trader ("the Service"), operated by Bug Hutch Ltd. By using the Service you agree to comply with this AUP. Breach of this AUP may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

2.Permitted uses

The Service is provided for:

—Personal exchange trading on Betfair horse racing markets using your own Betfair account

—Reviewing and analysing your own trading history and performance via Session Review and Trading DNA

—Using AI-generated market intelligence to inform your own trading decisions

—Configuring and applying trading strategies and risk settings for your own personal use

3.Prohibited uses

You must not use the Service to:

—Trade on behalf of any other person, business, or entity — the Service is for personal use only

—Operate the Service as a commercial bureau, resell access, or sublicense the Service to others

—Scrape, harvest, copy, or systematically extract data, AI outputs, strategy library content, or market data from the Service by automated means

—Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or AI model weights underlying the Service

—Exploit the Service or its AI outputs for the purpose of building or training competing products

—Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security, access control, or rate-limiting mechanism of the Service

—Introduce malware, viruses, or any code intended to damage or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure

—Use the Service in any way that violates Betfair's Terms and Conditions or any applicable law

—Use the Service in any jurisdiction where exchange trading is restricted or prohibited

—Access the Service if you are subject to a Betfair self-exclusion or any multi-operator self-exclusion scheme

—Use the Service if you are under 18 years of age

—Impersonate another user or provide false information to obtain access

—Use the Service in any manner that could harm, overload, or impair its operation or availability for other users

4.Betfair API and exchange rules

Horse Racing Trader interacts with Betfair Exchange on your behalf using the Betfair API. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with all Betfair Terms and Conditions, including rules on market manipulation, collusion, and abusive trading behaviour.

—Bug Hutch Ltd is not responsible for any sanctions applied to your Betfair account arising from your trading activity.

—Any automated or semi-automated trading behaviour must comply with Betfair's bot and API usage policies.

5.Responsible gambling

Horse Racing Trader is a tool for informed exchange trading. It must not be used as a vehicle for problem gambling. If your use of the Service is causing financial hardship or affecting your wellbeing, you should immediately stop and seek support.

—Use Race Guardian daily loss caps and the kill switch as intended.

—Do not attempt to circumvent or disable responsible gambling safeguards.

6.Enforcement

Bug Hutch Ltd reserves the right to investigate suspected breaches of this AUP. We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if we determine a breach has occurred. We may also report activity to relevant authorities where legally required.

Account suspensions or terminations for AUP breaches are not eligible for refunds of subscription fees already paid.
