Terms of Service

1.Introduction and acceptance

Horse Racing Trader ("the Service") is operated by Bug Hutch Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number [BUG_HUTCH_COMPANY_NUMBER], registered office [BUG_HUTCH_REGISTERED_OFFICE].

By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2.Eligibility

To use Horse Racing Trader you must:

—Be 18 years of age or older.

—Hold a valid, active Betfair Exchange account.

—Be resident in the United Kingdom or Ireland.

—Not be subject to a Betfair self-exclusion or any multi-operator self-exclusion scheme.

—Not be accessing the Service from a jurisdiction where exchange trading is restricted or prohibited.

We reserve the right to verify eligibility and to terminate accounts where eligibility cannot be confirmed.

3.Service description

Horse Racing Trader is browser-native trading software that provides AI-assisted market analysis, ladder execution tools, and analytics for Betfair Exchange horse racing markets. The Service is delivered as Software as a Service (SaaS) over the internet — no software download is required.

The Service provides market intelligence and execution interface tools only. It does not provide financial advice, gambling advice, betting tips, or guarantees of any trading outcome. All trading decisions are made by the user and are the sole responsibility of the user.

AI engines within the Service — including Trade Thesis, Pre-Race Brief, Liquidity Interpreter, and Trading DNA — provide market pattern analysis and structural reads based on real-time data. These outputs are analytical tools, not recommendations to trade.

4.Subscription and billing

—The Service is available at £37 per calendar month, billed via Stripe.

—A 7-day free trial is provided upon account creation. No payment card is required to start the trial.

—A valid payment card must be added before or at the end of the trial period to continue access.

—Subscriptions renew automatically at the start of each billing period.

—You may cancel at any time via Settings → Subscription or the Stripe Customer Portal.

—Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period. Access continues until then.

—No partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a paid billing period. See Refund Policy.

—Statutory consumer rights under UK law are not affected by these terms.

5.User responsibilities

You agree to:

—Take sole responsibility for all trades placed on Betfair using the Service.

—Comply with Betfair's Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws.

—Keep your account credentials secure and not share access with others.

—Use the Service for your own personal trading only — not for commercial resale or on behalf of others.

—Not attempt to scrape, copy, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the Service or its AI outputs.

—Not use the Service in any way that violates Betfair's terms, applicable law, or our Acceptable Use Policy.

6.Service availability and limitations

The Service is provided "as is" with reasonable best efforts. Bug Hutch Ltd does not guarantee uninterrupted availability and is not liable for losses arising from service unavailability, Betfair API delays, AI inference delays, or internet connectivity issues.

You must maintain direct access to your Betfair account as a fallback at all times. Do not rely solely on Horse Racing Trader during live trading.

7.AI engines and disclaimers

AI-generated outputs — including Trade Thesis cards, Pre-Race Briefs, Liquidity Interpreter signals, and Trading DNA reports — are analytical tools based on real-time and historical market data. They may be incorrect, incomplete, delayed, or based on incomplete information.

AI output is market intelligence, not advice. Users must not treat any AI output as financial advice, betting advice, a recommendation to place any trade, or a guarantee of any outcome.

Bug Hutch Ltd is not liable for trading losses, missed opportunities, or any financial outcome resulting from acting on AI-generated analysis.

8.No financial or gambling advice

Horse Racing Trader expressly does not provide:

—Financial advice of any kind

—Gambling advice or betting tips

—Guaranteed winning selections

—Investment recommendations

—Autonomous trading or auto-betting

Users acknowledge they understand the distinction between AI-assisted market analysis and regulated financial or gambling advice.

9.Intellectual property

All software, AI models, strategy library content, branding, and service content are the intellectual property of Bug Hutch Ltd or its licensors.

You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own trading during your active subscription. This licence does not include:

—Redistribution, resale, or sublicensing of the Service or its outputs

—Commercial exploitation of strategy library content or AI outputs

—Reproduction of branding, interface design, or proprietary methodology

10.Account termination

You may cancel your account at any time from Settings. Paid access continues to the end of your current billing period.

Bug Hutch Ltd may suspend or terminate accounts without notice for:

—Breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy

—Fraudulent activity, chargebacks, or abuse

—Behaviour that harms other users, Bug Hutch Ltd, or Betfair

Trading DNA and session history are retained per the Privacy Policy. You may request data deletion at any time.

11.Limitation of liability and indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Bug Hutch Ltd's total liability to you in respect of any claim is limited to the subscription fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Bug Hutch Ltd accepts no liability for:

—Trading losses on Betfair Exchange

—Loss of profit, revenue, or business opportunity

—Indirect, consequential, or special damages

—Service interruptions or third-party service failures (Betfair, Stripe, Anthropic, Vercel)

You agree to indemnify Bug Hutch Ltd against any claims, losses, or legal costs arising from your misuse of the Service or breach of these terms.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

12.Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

Your statutory consumer rights under UK law (including the Consumer Rights Act 2015) are not affected by these Terms.

13.Changes to terms

Bug Hutch Ltd may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email with at least 30 days notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
