Refund Policy

Last updated: May 2026

1.Free trial

Horse Racing Trader provides a 7-day free trial on account creation. No payment card is required to start the trial. You can explore the full Service at no cost during the trial period.

Trial accounts that are not converted to paid subscriptions are automatically deactivated at the end of the 7-day period.
No charge is made for the trial under any circumstances.

2.Subscription charges

The Service is provided at £37 per calendar month, billed in advance via Stripe at the start of each billing period. By adding a payment card and allowing the trial to convert, you authorise Bug Hutch Ltd to charge your card at the start of each billing period until cancellation.

3.Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time via Settings → Subscription or the Stripe Customer Portal.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period. You retain full access to the Service until that date.
No further charges are made after cancellation takes effect.

4.No partial refunds

Horse Racing Trader does not issue partial refunds for unused portions of a paid billing period. This is consistent with standard SaaS subscription practice: when you cancel, your access continues until the period ends and no further billing occurs.

If you wish to avoid a forthcoming charge, cancel before your renewal date. Your renewal date is shown in Settings → Subscription.

5.Exceptional refund requests

We consider exceptional refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Circumstances we may consider include:

Duplicate charges arising from a billing error on our part
A charge made after a cancellation that was properly submitted but not processed correctly
Extended service unavailability materially exceeding the availability targets in our Service Level Agreement

To request a refund, email support@horseracingtrader.com with your account email address and a description of the issue. We respond within 5 business days.

6.Consumer rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. In particular, your statutory right to a 14-day cooling-off period for digital services applies unless you have expressly requested immediate access to the Service and acknowledged that this waives your cancellation right.

By starting your free trial and activating your subscription, you request immediate access to the Service and acknowledge this. Your statutory consumer rights for other matters are not affected.
