Your data and privacy
What HRT collects, what it does not collect, your UK GDPR rights, and how to download or delete your data.
What Horse Racing Trader collects
HRT collects the minimum data necessary to operate the platform effectively. Specifically:
Account data: Your email address, display name, and encrypted password (stored as a hash — we cannot read your password). This is used to authenticate you and communicate with you about your account.
Trade data: A record of every order you place through HRT: the market, runner, order type, stake, price, outcome, and timestamp. This data is what powers Trading DNA and the performance analysis features. It is stored in our database and associated with your account.
Session data: Basic usage data — which pages you visited, when, and how long you spent on the terminal. Used for performance monitoring, bug diagnosis, and product improvement.
AI interaction data: When AI engines generate output, the prompt context (market data snapshot) and the response are logged temporarily for quality monitoring purposes. This data is not associated with your personal account in a way that would identify you.
What HRT does not collect
- Your Betfair password — you authenticate with Betfair directly via OAuth. We never see or store your Betfair credentials.
- Your payment card details — all payment processing is handled by Stripe. We store only a tokenised reference provided by Stripe and the last four digits of your card for display purposes.
- Your betting history from Betfair — we read live market data during your sessions but do not store your Betfair account history, balance, or historical bets.
